Bought it at 400 at its last lowest price. Swapped out the band with a dark blue one that's more comfortable. Hated spending this much on a watch but it's been awesome. Wanted to be able to run without my phone and still listen to spotify on my buds while tracking the run via GPS and getting all the good data. Auto uploads to Strava when done with the run. But now I prefer the Garmin tracking app. Just a much richer experience compared to Strava. 32 gigs I think. Plenty of room for spotify play lists have to update the Playlist via wifi every month or so. Think this is just a spotify app requirement to continually verify your a spotify subscriber. Wife is jealous of the watch. She has an older Fenix model. Battery lasts over two weeks with me using it for half hour runs 4 to 5 times a week. It's honestly too uncomfortable and bulky to wear it for sleep tracking. So I miss out on those features. Love the physical buttons but still use the touchscreen for certain interactions. Coolest piece of tech I've owned in a while. Bought the new Samsung galaxy watch for like 100 bucks with the trade in deal etc. That thing felt like a cereal box prize compared to this. Couldn't do these simple things I would expect any smart watch to be capable of in 2025 and battery didn't last a day using like 1/20 of its advertised features. Was almost comical. Suffice to say it got returned quickly.

I ran 3-4x a week for 30+ mins each time while listening to music. I charged once a week.

I was happily surprised that I could download YouTube Music playlists to the watch and run without my phone. Couldn't do that with the Apple Watch.

In for one. According to the part number listed in the specifications, this is matched to the Sapphire edition. If true, that's a nice upgrade I didn't expect.

Garmin has terrible battery life when listening to music. In this Epix 2 without multi-band the all-systems runtime drops from 32 to 10 hours when streaming audio.

How does this compare to Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra?. What can this do that Galaxy Watch Ultra cannot?

The reviews for Beach Camera suggest the inventory is not new. Filter by most recent, a lot missing manuals and small things which suggest returned, reconditioned or open box.

Nowhere does the page suggest you're receiving this watch in used or refurbished condition. My guess is people are buying other things from Beach Camera through Walmart that are marked refurbished and don't realize it.
Beach Camera sells a ton of items, some of which are refurbished. This price is not out of line with what's been on Amazon in recent months for new condition.

I can't speak for the hardware of the Galaxy. I'm sure a quick google search will show you specs. But Garmin has an excellent mobile and web app to track fitness. You don't need to use anything else. You can if you want as many integrations are there, but it's not needed. That saves quite a bit in 3rd party subscriptions.

I have such a similar experience. I never wanted to buy such an expensive watch but my God this watch is awesome! I've been wearing it non-stop for the last 6 weeks and comparatively to the Samsung watches that I had for years, this beats them in every single way except for not having a speaker and microphone. I thought I would miss that, but honestly no big deal. I found it really irritating to try to have phone calls on my watch so I disabled that feature almost immediately and yes it would be nice to be able to listen to some things on the watch, otherwise it's no big deal. I wish I could do talk to text and reply to messages more fully but again this watch is amazing.

I love mine. Instinct user previously. Highly recommended, great battery life, this many features at this price is already an amazing deal; But with sapphire glass it's slick.
